Molagai Pudi
Ingredients
- Urad Dal : 1 cup
- Chana Dal : 1 cup
- Sesame Seeds (Til) : 2 tablespoons
- Red Chillies : 1 cup
- Asafoetida (Hing) : pinch
- Salt for flavor
Instructions
- Roast the chana dal and urad dal to a golden brown color and fragrant.
- Dry grind to a fine powder.
- Add the chillies, sesame seeds and salt and continue to grind. Mix well.
- Store in an airtight glass jar.
Notes
Molagai Pudi will stay fresh for at least six months if stored in an airtight container at room temperature. It will stay fresh even longer if stored in the refrigerator.
