Ingredients
Urad Dal : 1 ¼ tablespoon
Coriander Seeds (Dhania) : 3 tablespoons
Black Pepper : 1 teaspoon
Sesame Seeds (Til) : 2 teaspoons
Red Chillies : 10 -12
Dry grated coconut : ½ cup
Vegetable Oil : 1 tablespoon
Instructions
Dry roast all the ingredients, except the coconut until they are fragrant. Set aside to cool.
Roast the coconut separately to a golden brown color. Set aside to cool.
Using a spice grinder, grind all the ingredients to a powder.
Store in an airtight glass jar for several months, or in the freezer for much longer.
