Besan : 500 grams
Powdered sugar : 450 grams
Ghee : 350 grams
Powdered Cardamom (Elaichi) Seeds : 20 pods
- Heat about half the ghee in a thick bottomed pan. Add the besan and fry till besan becomes a golden brown. This can also be done in the microwave.
- If microwave is used to fry the besan, heat it for 2 minutes and keep stirring before putting it back in again every time till besan becomes golden brown.
- Let the besan cool and then add sugar and cardamom powder.
Form into laddus (golf ball size) while the mix is still hot.
